The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship returns to Donington Park next July, the only time the world’s premier superbike racing category series visits Britain all year.
Multiple champion Jonathan Rea is back again, fresh from securing his fifth successive crown, while 2019 title rival Alvaro Bautista has switched to the Honda team after a bruising second half of the year saw him lose his early points advantage.
Meanwhile Scott Redding has made the switch from British Superbikes to the world scene, the former MotoGP ace taking Bautista’s spot at Ducati, and he will be determined to impress just as much as he did in BSB last year when he clinched the title at the first attempt.
World Superbikes will race three times across the weekend, with Superpole qualifying and Race One on Saturday, before the Superpole race and Race Two on Sunday. As well as the WorldSBK triple header, there’s a full international support race card and action from top-level British categories.
The free of charge Paddock Show will provide plenty of entertainment and rider interviews all weekend, and fans can get up close to the podium celebrations too, thanks to the open paddock policy.
